Q: How is my order shipped?

A: Orders are sent FedEx Ground or Canada Post Expedited Parcel. A signature is required when delivered.

Q: Can shipping be combined?

A: Yes. You will notice at the checkout that shipping is automatically calculated to combine shipping in order to make it as economical as possible. In most cases shipping works out to only $5 extra for each additional kit.

Q: How long will it take to recieve my shipment?

A: Orders are processed and shipped out within 24 hours. shipping will take 2-7 weekdays depending on the destination.

Q: Why are some items only available for local delivery?

A: Some items such as lighters and heating fuel can not be sent through FedEx because of transportation regulations.

Q: What else should I add?

A: Don't forget to keep clothes, food, water, spare keys, copies of important documents, cash and cheques(ATMs and Interact may not work during power or network outages). There are also many resources online that have some great suggestions of things you should keep with your emergency kit. A great addition is a large backpack or duffle bag to keep everything together incase you need to evacuate on short notice. Please see our Resources page for more ideas.

Q: Why haven't you included food and water?

A: We have decided not to include food and water because it is not economical to ship. Emergency stocks of Food and Water also needs to be rotated frequently. If you are interested in MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) rations check our Resources page for more information

Q: Will I recieve a receipt?

A: If you are ordering online you will recieve a PayPal receipt when you checkout. A copy of the invoice will also be shipped with the kit.

Q: Can I pick up my order?

A: Sure, Please contact us before you place your order and we will be able to waive the delivery charge

Q: What if I don't like my kit? Can it be returned?

A: If you are not happy with your kit it can be returned for a refund within 30 days. Kit must be in original condition and shipping charges can not be refunded.

A: No we are not affiliated with any government agencies, we work with various levels of government and private companies to help promote emergency preparedness.
